Designed for parents who value quality time and children who learn through exploration, our space blends the warmth of a café with the energy of an indoor playground. From curated camps and creative classes to thoughtful events and celebrations, every detail invites families to slow down, engage, and feel at home. More than a destination, Kids & Coffee is a community built for families to socialize, connect, and play.
Our
Story
We’re Vivian and Ken - San Diego parents, designers, and the founders of Kids & Coffee.
The idea began during the pandemic, when our first daughter, Layla, was born. Balancing full-time careers in design and operations, we experienced firsthand how few spaces truly supported the realities of modern parenthood - places where children could learn through play, and parents could feel restored, connected, and seen.
With a background in UX design and brand experience, we set out to create something different: a thoughtfully designed environment that considers every detail of the family journey - from the flow of the space to the sensory experience of a great cup of coffee.
Inspired by nature and grounded in community, Kids & Coffee is our vision of balance — a place where kids and grownups can socialize, connect, and play.
