Agreement to Policies
By making a reservation, purchasing a pass, or entering Kids & Coffee, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to follow all Kids & Coffee rules, policies, and wellness standards as posted on this page.

Playground and Café Rules

Reservations and Capacity Management

• Advance reservations are strongly recommended for all play visits, events, and programs.

• Play sessions are booked in specific time windows. To help us manage capacity and keep the space calm and safe, please arrive on time and honor your end time.

• A 10 minute grace period is built into each session for check out and transitions. After your reserved time has ended, staff may kindly ask your family to wrap up so we can welcome the next guests.

• Same day reservations and walk ins may be available based on real time capacity and are not guaranteed.

Adult Supervision

• All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

• Please stay within sight of your little ones while they play and remain responsible for their behavior and safety.

Safe Play Only

• For everyone’s safety, no running, rough play, wrestling, or throwing toys is allowed.

• We encourage gentle play, taking turns, and kind behavior at all times.

• Bullying, pushing, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in being asked to leave.

Be Kind and Considerate

• Help us foster a friendly, inclusive community.

• Share the play equipment and be respectful of other children and adults.

• Please speak respectfully to staff and other guests at all times.

Dress Code and Socks

For safety, hygiene, and comfort, all guests must follow our dress code in the play space:

• No shoes in the play area or on padded surfaces.

• Children: Grippy socks are required to help prevent slips.

• Adults: Regular socks are required. No bare feet.

• Bottoms must be worn (shorts, leggings, or pants).

• Shirts are required at all times for both children and adults.

If you forget socks, we have options available for purchase at the Welcome Desk.

Food and Drinks

• To keep our space clean and safe for crawlers, all food and beverages must stay at the café tables, not in the play area.

• Outside food and drinks are not permitted, with the following limited exceptions for infants:

  • Baby formula

  • Simple baby food or purées and soft fruits brought specifically for infants

• We offer a full menu of kid friendly food and drinks at the K&C Café.

Celebrations & Parties
Impromptu birthday parties, group celebrations, décor, or outside treats (such as cupcakes, cakes, or goodie bags) are not permitted during regular play visits. To celebrate a birthday or special occasion at Kids & Coffee, please reserve one of our hosted birthday party packages

Wellness and Illness

• If you or your child is feeling unwell, please visit us another day.

• Kids & Coffee reserves the right to ask a child or adult who appears ill to leave and return when they are well. This protects infants, young children, and guests with increased health sensitivities.

Follow Staff Instructions

• Our team is here to help, support, and keep everyone safe.

• Please follow instructions from Kids & Coffee staff and adhere to all posted signs during your visit.

Clean Up After Play

• Please help us keep the space tidy.

• Put away toys and dispose of trash after use so the next families can enjoy a clean, inviting environment.

Kids & Coffee Wellness and Illness Policy

For the health, safety, and comfort of all children, families, and staff.

We want everyone to enjoy a clean, safe, and healthy play environment. To protect our community, we ask that only “well” children and adults visit our facility.

Kids & Coffee reserves the right to ask a child or adult showing visible signs of illness to return on another day. This helps us protect infants, young children, and guests with higher health sensitivities.

Children and adults may not enter Kids & Coffee if they are experiencing any of the following:

• Active coughing (new, persistent, or productive - not a chronic, medically cleared cough)

• Thick or constant nasal discharge

• Fever within the last 24 hours

• Active vomiting or diarrhea

• Symptoms of a respiratory or airway infection

• Extreme fatigue, irritability, or clear signs that the child is unwell

• Undiagnosed or unexplained rash

• Contagious skin conditions such as lice, impetigo, or scabies

• Red, itchy, or draining eyes

• Unexplained rash, hives, or open skin lesions

• Any untreated communicable disease

If antibiotics are prescribed:

• Children must complete the first 24 hours of medication before visiting Kids & Coffee.

Our Goal
This policy is not meant to inconvenience families, but to protect the well being of everyone who plays, explores, and works at Kids & Coffee. Thank you for helping us maintain a healthy environment for our community.

Dog and Pet Policy

We love our furry friends, but to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all guests, especially our little ones, please note:

• No dogs or pets are allowed inside the play space or café areas, with the exception of certified service animals.

• Service animals must remain on leash and under control at all times.

• Please do not leave dogs tied outside or unattended near the entrance.

General Policies

Waiver Requirement

• All guests must sign a waiver before children enter the play area.

• The waiver must be completed prior to your first play session and may be updated periodically.

Payment Policy

• Kids & Coffee is a cashless facility.

• Credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Wallet are accepted for all purchases, including entry, café items, and retail.

• We do not accept cash.

Parental Responsibility

• Kids & Coffee is not a drop off facility by default.

• A parent or guardian must remain on site and supervise their children at all times, unless the child is enrolled in a designated Kids & Coffee pop in kids club program (available for an additional fee).

Lost or Stolen Items

• Kids & Coffee is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings, including phones, bags, toys, or strollers.

• Please keep track of your valuables.

• Our Lost and Found bin is cleared at the end of each Friday. If you have contacted us about a lost item but do not pick it up by the agreed upon date, it will be cleared with other unclaimed items on the next scheduled Friday EOD.

Assumption of Risk

• While we prioritize safety and cleanliness, indoor play is at your own risk.

• Parents and guardians assume all risks of injury and full responsibility for their child’s behavior.

• Kids & Coffee is not liable for accidents or injuries that may occur during play.

No Smoking or Vaping

• Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises, including the outdoor patio and entry areas.

Respectful Environment

• We are committed to a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.

• Harassment of staff or other guests, inappropriate language, or unsafe behavior may result in immediate removal from the premises.

Fun Passes and Time Use

• All Fun Passes include time in both the play space and the café.

• Your pass covers your entire visit within your reserved time window. It does not provide separate or additional time for each area.

• Please plan accordingly so your family has time to enjoy both play and café experiences.

Right to Refuse Service

• Kids & Coffee reserves the right to refuse service or ask any guest to leave for failure to follow these rules, for health and safety concerns, or for inappropriate or unsafe conduct.

• Our priority is to protect the well being of all children, families, and staff.

Policy Changes

• Policies are subject to change without notice.

• We may update or modify our rules as needed to improve safety or operations.

• The most current rules will always be posted on our website.
